Some electronic pop here, fuzzed out in all the right places, from this Ontario band on Arts & Crafts. Well... I know I called it pop, but there's a depth in the song structures, mix of acoustic/electric instrumentation and overall musical complexity that transcends most of what we refer to as such. For instance: this track kicks off more or less straightforward, then evolves into a few circular vocal rounds, capping it all off with a hot acoustic breakdown.

Underwater Cinematographer has been out for about a month in the US. Looks like you can sample pretty much the whole album on their nicely-put-together website.

buy Underwater Cinematographer at insound.
